I stopped updating my poetry blog some time in 2020. It was probably a mix of getting long COVID, which really effected my health, and the general poor reception that social media has for poetry (especially when people mostly come to my feeds for, you know, art).
No one looked at my poetry blog either. I have the stats to prove it.
I didn't stop writing them though!
So recently I went through my digital notebooks and scraped up all the pieces and bits I could find, edited up a few into better shape, and actually posted them all.
I ended up with 25 as of yet unpublished poems, 10 of which are a series of short "Observations." Not a huge amount for 6 years, but not bad for something I was doing without any sort of validation whatsoever.

I'll probably upload some now and then to Bluesky as well and try not to feel disheartened about it.
